For the registration of a .hu domain, an admin-c with a local address is required. If the client does not have one, Dominiando can provide the local presence service.
In addition, also eligible to register a .hu domain are holders of trademarks registered in Europe, or citizens of: the European Union; member countries of the Council of Europe; the European Economic Area (EEA); the European Free Trade Association (EFTA); a country bordering Hungary.
Finally, domain-associated DNS's must be active and an account must be created, like postmaster@domainrequest.hu.
All .hu domains registered (technically active) must enter in a period of Conditional Registration lasting 8 days, during which they are published in a list on the Registry site, so that registered trademark owners may dispute any registered domains.
