To register a Cambodian .com.kh domain, the applicant must submit a "Relinquished Agreement", or a preventive waiver agreement, i.e. a document with which the future domain owner declares in advance that they will give up the requested domain if a company legally established in Cambodia and having a company name identical to the registered domain name, then requests it.
It is not necessary to submit the Relinquished Agreement only if:
- you are a local company, and the domain name exactly matches the company name,
- you have a local trademark, and the domain name exactly matches the trademark name.
In addition, you must provide a color copy of the trade license, the letter of approval and the patent, in the case of a company, or a copy of the trademark certificate, in the case of a trademark.
